"SERVICE YOUR SUZUKI TO WIN"
Booking your vehicle in for a service this winter comes with an added bonus for Suzuki owners with the car maker set to give away a brand new Kizashi sports sedan to one loyal customer.
Any Suzuki vehicle booked in for a service at an authorised Suzuki dealership* before September 30 is eligible to enter the draw. Entrants will also receive 10 per cent off any genuine Suzuki parts during the promotion period.
“Suzuki has always had an extremely loyal customer base and what better way to reward them than with the chance to drive away the proud owner of our exciting new model, the stunning Kizashi,” said Suzuki Australia general manager Tony Devers.
“The winter season can bring different driving conditions for motorists and without your vehicle in its peak condition the chances of an accident increase markedly.”
“A log-book service at one of our authorised dealerships creates peace of mind needed for Suzuki drivers.”
Devers added the new Kizashi has been an unprecedented success for the company with strong sales for the new model following its launch in May.
“Kizashi continues to go from strength to strength with glowing reviews from all corners of the industry.”
“With a stunning design, dynamic drive and extensive features list to rival even more expensive European opponents, the Kizashi is the luxury sports sedan that redefines the Suzuki brand in this country.”

"SUZUKI ALTO TOPS NRMA COSTS SURVEY"
Australia has a new budget beating champion with the Suzuki Alto judged the least expensive car to own and operate in the annual survey conducted by NRMA Motoring & Services.
Based on average car operating costs over a five year period, the Alto GL ranked first amongst all vehicles with a weekly outlay of just $88.82 – almost ten dollars clear of its nearest rival.
With a drive away price of only $12,490, outstanding fuel efficiency of just 4.8 litres per 100 kilometres and low servicing costs, the NRMA survey confirms Suzuki Alto as one of the best value cars on the market.
Its average weekly fuel bill was calculated at $21.14 per week and its overall cost per kilometre a mere 31 cents – taking into account purchase price, depreciation, petrol prices, maintenance and service.
The iconic Suzuki Jimny Sierra also took out top honours in the competitive Compact SUV segment, with an average cost of $127.40 a week to run.
In comparison, the state average for motorists was $183 a week.
“The Suzuki mantra of providing quality, reliable and value-packed products couldn’t be more evident than in these two award-winning vehicles. We are extremely proud of this recognition by NRMA,” said Suzuki Australia general manager, Tony Devers.
“Alto offers consumers the right choice. It was engineered on the basis that people could choose a practical, quality, low-running cost vehicle that also offers great performance, high levels of safety and outstanding fuel economy.
“And Jimny Sierra – the original rugged 4x4 – remains the most affordable four-wheel drive in the country.”
The NRMA survey is Australia’s most authoritative, comparing more than 600 cars on all key cost factors.

"KIZASHI RANKS HIGHEST IN OWNER SATISFACTION"
Suzuki’s all new sports sedan, the Kizashi, continues to rack up the accolades with top honours in AutoPacific’s 14th annual Vehicle Satisfaction Awards in the United States.
Based on responses from over 42,000 new vehicle owners, the Kizashi registered the highest in overall satisfaction for all new purchased or leased vehicles sold. Its final score was 99 points above the industry average to place first not only in its segment but highest overall amongst all 2010 model year vehicles.
The AutoPacific award is an industry benchmark in measuring vehicle owner satisfaction. To perform well, vehicles must score high in 48 separate categories across the ownership experience.
“This is tremendous feedback from satisfied owners. The Kizashi continues the long Suzuki tradition of offering the highest levels of value and customer satisfaction,” said Suzuki Australia general manager Tony Devers.
“With its combination of stunning design, outstanding performance and high levels of safety, we are extremely confident of seeing similar levels of satisfaction here in Australia.
Devers said the Kizashi represents not only Suzuki’s first foray into the mid-sized car segment but also a car that is set to redefine the Suzuki brand globally.
“The Kizashi offers a new choice in value, quality and performance.”
"GRAND VITARA CONFIRMED AS AUSTRALIA'S BEST COMPACT SUV"

Suzuki’s class leading Grand Vitara DDiS turbo-diesel has been confirmed as Australia’s Best Compact SUV. Australia’s toughest judges – the 4WD experts from 4x4 Australia and Overlander 4WD magazines – have this week named the Grand Vitara the best compact SUV in the country for the second year in a row.
“Its low-range gearing, tough ladder frame chassis and all-independent suspension quickly impressed 4X4OTY judges on a mixed on and off-road test route that few other compacts could have completed,” said the 4x4 Australia judges. “The suspension is well sorted, steering is direct and the driver’s seat is comfortable and supportive – ideal for long-haul trips.
“The Grand Vitara DDiS’s asking price makes this compact a steal – and a worthy Best In Class winner once again.”
The 4x4 Australia award comes close on the heels of the judges at Overlander 4WD picking the Grand Vitara turbo-diesel as its best compact SUV, lavishing the car with praise. “The DDiS’s closest rival for this award is one of the two petrol variants of the Grand Vitara. If we were to split this category so that we have separate diesel and petrol winners, there’s no doubt that one of the two petrol Grand Vitaras would get the nod.
“For now, the single Compact Wagon category is owned by the DDiS, thanks to its unique combination of performance, economy and off-road ability.
“What’s even better is the way that it sips fuel. Drive it hard and you’re unlikely to use more than 10 litres/100 km, while easy driving will see the consumption drop into the eights or even the sevens. “The Suzuki’s on-road handling is also a highlight. This is a vehicle that’s stable at higher speeds on crook roads, yet agile and zippy in the tighter stuff. In fact, there’s very little we don’t like about the DDiS.”
The Grand Vitara was judged Best Compact SUV from a highly competitive field, including the Volkswagen Tiguan, Toyota RAV4, Hyundai Tucson, Nissan X-Trail, Jeep Wrangler, Subaru Forester and Honda CR-V.
Suzuki Australia General Manager Tony Devers said the domination by the Grand Vitara in Australia’s leading 4x4 magazines confirmed the Grand Vitara as the best compact SUV on the market. “We were confident of the Grand Vitara’s performance potential when we launched it in 2008, and winning coveted awards from the toughest judges in the business is proof there is no better compact SUV available.
“That’s the reason why the Grand Vitara has performed so well in awards like this, and why its one of the few vehicles showing an increase in sales in 2009,” Devers said. Grand Vitara has been one of the shining lights in 2009 sales figures, with year on year sales of the GV3 up 72 per cent, while the five-door version is up 23 per cent.
